The Agneepath scheme brought up for long visioned goal of betterment of army and increasing the youth ratio is apparently hindering the present of army aspirants. The scheme closes the doors for aspirants below or above the slab of 17.5 to 21 years. (the bar is temporarily waived off for aspirants from past 2 years and is raised to 23 for them). The Agnipath scheme impliedly abrogates the old recruitment scheme.
