Importance of the Course

It has been generally noted that there is a gulf existing between the theoretical teachings and practical applications of the legal knowledge disseminated. What we aim through this certificate course is to bridge that gap between theory and practicality to provide a platform to the students with a stage of gaining the know-how about the practices observed in the Supreme Court so that the students are in a better position to:

  1. Understand the applications of the knowledge provided in classroom teaching.
  2. Gain skills making the transition to constitutional law practice after graduating from the University easier for aspirants.

There shall be an added impetus on the drafting and filing procedure which would be useful in the development of practical skills for the students. More information about the structure of the course can be found in the course outline.

The course shall consist of 8 classes, each of 1 and a half hours (total teaching time of 12 hours). The classes shall be scheduled online over the Cisco WebEx platform.
