Laal Singh Chaddha featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan is the recreation of a Hollywood film, Forrest Gump. This film which was supposed to hit the screens during 2020 Christmas has been postponed by a whole year and will reach theatres by this year. Filmed by Advait Chandan, the original Hollywood hit featured Robin Wright and Tom Hanks in lead roles. The movie was in the production stage when coronavirus hit us and a worldwide pandemic was seen, halting the filming of the movie curtly. Pictures of Aamir from Turkey are doing the rounds on all the social media platforms and a lot of hype is surrounding the film as well. Aamir is allegedly planning to resume filming and the shooting has also come to an end in the latest report. Few pictures showcased Aamir posturing with fans, covered with a blue face mask. In the meantime, Kareena Kapoor Khan is seemingly still in India. The movie was planned to be shot in lots of sites around India.
Unfolding the role he is portraying, Aamir stated to the Hindustan Times, “This role is very endearing. Laal Singh is so acquitted, he has diverse patterns of perceiving things. He is somebody who you directly understand when you meet him. If I act that role poorly, then it becomes an altered game. As a scripted role, it is such that you will fall for him head-over-heels straight.”
Shamshera
Ranbir Kapoor’s historical period drama, Shamshera was likely to come to cinema halls by 31 July. With A backdrop of the 1800s, the movie revolves around a dakoit troupe that heads the battle alongside the British. Ranbir Kapoor portrays a dual character in the movie- the nominal role of Shamshera and his father. Vaani Kapoor is seen portraying a dancer. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Tridha Choudhury, Ronit Roy, Pitobash, and Aahana Kumra. Ranbir Kapoor and YRF banner are planning to join hands for a massive action film, dhamaka and a typical bollywood entertainment film named Shamshera. The movie has a backdrop of the core of India and will contain a high-pitched, huge-than-life experience with jaw-flattering action scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in a never afore admired appeal. Sanjay Dutt to portray a callous, cruel antagonist in the history action drama Shamshera! He will be rutted alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the mammoth action display. Vaani Kapoor is placed to crackle like never witnessed before in this humongous action drama. She will portray the role of an utmost wanted and exclusive peripatetic artiste from the core India.
Jersey
Shahid Kapoor was all geared up for the release of yet another south adaption after the feat of Kabir Singh. Jersey is remade from a Telugu movie having the same title. The movie traces the journey of a talented cricketer who was prohibited from playing the sport from 10 years ago and then gets tracked on the ground with a superior reason. Featuring Shahid paired with Mrunal Thakur, Jersey was expected to hit the screens on 28 August, 2020. The movie has allegedly completed its filming and the main actors of the movie took to their Instagram accounts to celebrate the wrap. After the gigantic victory of Kabir Singh which, again was a remake, Shahid’s followers have pinned higher expectations from Jersey. And subsequently Shahid’s dues are also rising. According to daily reports from the Bombay Times, the Jab we met hero is receiving an astounding amount of ₹35 crores sharing the returns of the movie. This makes it his highest remuneration through all his movies.
According to a report from the Outlook, “Shahid hasn’t just questioned for a higher payment but again questioned for a return share from the film. He is receiving ₹35 crores added taxes as his pay, paired with a 20 percent part in the movie’s returns”. According to a report from the News18, the movie was originally booked to hit screens on August 28, 2020. But had to be overdue due to the epidemic and also due to some portions of the film being unfinished. Again, from the similar reports, the team actors and associates are likely to be shooting in Chandigarh to schedule the completion of the movie. The rescheduled release date of the movie will be announced as early as possible.
