What is Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship stands for the management and direction of a business. Entrepreneurship is the process of building and managing a business. It requires the ability to identify opportunities and problems. The ability to create and implement solutions. And the ability to manage people and resources so that the business can continue to operate profitably. The word entrepreneurship is sometimes used to refer to the act of starting a business. But the term is more often used to refer to the process of building and running a business.

What is a Job?

Job is a process where a person works to secure a competitive advantage, and where the person is ultimately employed as a result of this process. Job search occurs when the person is actively looking for a new job. And applies for openings based on information obtained through networking, snowball sampling, or the posting of a job. Job vs Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is the act of starting a new business or attempting to do so. Entrepreneurs are people who are willing to take risks with their own time and money to build a business.

Entrepreneurship is one of the most popular career choices for today’s youth. It’s becoming so popular that it has become one of the most common majors in college courses.

Jobs are what we do to make a living. Entrepreneurship is what we do to create wealth.

Entrepreneurship can be seen as the pursuit of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled. As such, it is the application of creativity and innovation in pursuit of increased self-worth. This mindset can be applied to any enterprise, endeavour, or project, whether entrepreneurial or not.

Entrepreneurship Opportunities

Entrepreneurship involves risk-taking and self-employment. Although it offers flexibility and freedom in career choice. It also carries significant risks associated with running new ventures. It allows the entrepreneur to develop, test out ideas and explore opportunities before investing his/her capital. Many successful businesses begin life as a hobby or part-time enterprise but grow rapidly through innovation, market positioning and marketing strategies. Startups offer potential employees exposure to a wide range of entrepreneurial challenges. Bicycle commuting helps reduce traffic congestion. Commuting via bicycle reduces noise levels within urban environments. Cyclists do not need roads, thus reducing road accidents. Bicycles are better environmentally friendly than car transportation.

Entrepreneurship offers the opportunity to start one’s businesses. The entrepreneur can sell products according to his choice. He/she gets to decide the pricing structure, set targets and meet deadlines. People working outside tend to face pressure from employers to perform. However, in entrepreneurship, you enjoy flexibility and freedom. This allows you ample opportunity to develop yourself to become successful in life. There is a lot of scope and room for personal development through entrepreneurship. When there is economic growth, most economies suffer poverty reduction, meaning that every citizen benefits equally. Yet, the United States economy suffers from severe problems when measured against GDP. As opposed to China and India which continue to prosper by reducing both income disparities and child mortality among adults. This can be due to different factors such as high population density in those countries compared to the USA (the USA had fewer inhabitants).

Jobs Opportunities

A Job or a Business? Workers take employment offers based on their confidence that the employer will honour their employment contracts. However, employees fail to give the company loyalty, which leads not only to dissatisfaction among workers themselves. But negatively affects both employers and customers alike. Therefore, employers require loyalty, not necessarily job security. On the contrary, many businesses employ individuals who want to leave employment, despite having signed long-term contracts with current employers. Business owners can earn the trust of their existing clients by providing services or products which benefit their interests or well-being. Employees must show a willingness to invest extra effort or remain loyal long past the conclusion of business deals between employers and employees. Loyalty begins with mutual understanding.

Several studies suggest that the majority of unemployed Americans would love full-time employment. The majority see full-time jobs as secure. Also, unemployment tends to be short-lived. Once a worker finds a position, his chances of finding another have historically been quite strong. Employment provides workers with a stable source of income that is usually taxed, and employers expect employees to contribute to company profits through lower employee turnover. Finally, some individuals enjoy working more for compensation purposes than personal satisfaction. Mankind needs clean air since inhaling toxic fumes can damage physical conditions, reduce life expectancy and cause birth defects amongst other problems. Mankind cannot tolerate toxins in our environment. Hence we need to control pollution levels that come from factories and vehicles. Toxins create many diseases among humans such as skin irritations, respiratory disorders and headaches. Even plants suffer damage due to poor air and when people breathe polluted atmospheres, breathing difficulties happen too.

Pros and Cons of Entrepreneurship 

Pros:

-Employment opportunities in a wide variety of industries

-Can be done from anywhere, at any time, and can be completed on your schedule

-No need for a formal education

-Potential to earn more than the median wage

Cons:

-May require some training or skill set that is not widely available

-Possible to earn less than the median wage

Pros and Cons of Jobs

Pros: 

Jobs provide people with a sense of purpose, a sense of belonging and a sense of achievement.

Cons: 

Jobs can also lead to stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health problems

Conclusion

An employee, who works 9 to 5 has a narrow vision, restricted liabilities, and subsequently, limited responsibility. In any case, when you’re an entrepreneur, you need to work every day of the week to accomplish your vision and enhance the value to the lives of your clients.
